Bellaire Soccer Club
Bellaire
Soccer Club
The Bellaire Soccer Club was formed in 1993 with three teams, and by 2007 had grown to 28 teams offering competition for over 400 players, ages 8-18. Club teams, under the auspices of the Houston Youth Soccer Association, compete against top-ranked programs in Southeast Texas and the Houston area including First Colony, Quail Valley, Sugar Land, West University, Westbury, and Bear Creek.
In April 2008 Bellaire Soccer Club and Houston Near Town Soccer Club merged their competitive programs, creating one of the largest youth soccer clubs in the Houston area. The competitive soccer division will compete under the name Houston Express Soccer and is expected to field teams with more than 1,000 youth soccer players. Express is made up of boys and girls soccer teams between the ages of eight and 18 and teams from both clubs will begin playing together in the fall 2008 season.
