It’s time to register for the fall soccer season with the Bellaire Soccer Club.

Registration Methods and Dates:

·            On-line registration begins Saturday April 20

o        Use the registration link to complete the registration form and pay on-line ($160 per player).  Scholarships are available but are subject to approval.

·            Walk-in registration for anyone who:
    Prefers in-person process (for example, if you have questions)
    Prefers to pay by check or cash
    Is without internet access
    (Note: forms and information will be on site, or you may print a form in advance)

o        Sat. April 21 AND Sat. April 28, 2007 11:00-1:00 pm

o        Location: Optimist Building next to Horn Elementary (Holly Street between Ave B and Newcastle St., Bellaire)

·            Mail-in: You may print a form, fill it out, attach a check and mail it to: Bellaire Soccer Club, PO Box 1878 Bellaire, TX 77402-1878. Form is also at our website.

New players must furnish a photocopy of birth certificate. If not registering on-line, registration forms will be available at walk-in registration or can be printed from our web site (www.bellairesoccerclub.org) and submitted in person.

Player Try-Out Schedule:

·            All players must be evaluated on one evening during the week on May 7 – May 11. (to be announced)

·            Schedules and locations for each age group on the web site beginning April 20 & at walk-in registration.  Teams will be formed shortly thereafter.

Requirements:

• All players, new and returning, must register.

• Proof of age (copy of birth certificate or passport) required for all players new to club.

New players registering online will learn through the instructions how to send a copy of the birth certificate for age verification. Walk-ins should bring a photocopy. Returning players need not show proof of birth date again.

Fees: $160 per player ($170 beginning May 7).

Note: additional trainer fees during season may apply, depending upon the team (to be determined by coach).

Late Registration:

Late registration (at player evaluations), add $10.00.  However, parent must sign registration form and payment must be made prior to player entering the field.  If this is not possible, the player may only try out by making arrangements with coach to attend a practice session.

Bellaire Soccer Club participates in the Houston Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) and S. TX Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). Teams practice twice per week, travel to nearby out of town games, and are coached by licensed coaches and paid trainers. The City of Bellaire Recreation Department conducts a soccer program with games in Bellaire and once-per-week practices.
